Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been given a clean chit in the Delhi liquor scam that made headlines for days across the country.
Along with Kavitha, her auditor Buchi Babu, ex Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and ex minister Manish Sisodia, 20 others were given a clean chit by the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi. The Court stated that there were no enough proofs and struck down the case.
The Court said CBI failed to provide substantial proofs due to which it dismissed the case. Kavitha was in jail due to the Delhi liquor scam and was released on bail.
The judgement comes as a huge relief for Telangana Jagruthi president and projects her as a ‘clean politician’. Kavitha developed a grudge against BRS after her jail stint in the alleged scam.
For now, Kavitha seems to be savoring the result and hasn’t released a public statement yet. The order also comes as a relief for BRS as it could reduce Kavitha’s gripe towards the party.
For Kavitha, it’s a huge relief and she can now use it as a trump card in her future political moves.
