Till now there was talk in Telangana that Kavitha was just testing waters and she is unsure of her political entry. But looks like Kavitha has chalked out her future path.
Kavitha finally shared that she will announce her political party in May. Not stopping there, Kavitha threw the political bomb. She said she would contest from Siddipet, represented by her cousin from BRS, Harish Rao.
Kavitha also claims that Telangana Jagruthi will fill the role of an opposition party in days to come. She expressed confidence that their party will come to power in Telangana.
Seeing the Telangana political landscape, there is need for a strong opposition to counter CM Revanth Reddy and challenge him. Both BRS and the BJP have failed to the extent that Revanth Reddy claimed that he sees himself as the Chief Minister for next 10 years.
What Telangana needs is growth and keeping up with the pace of development in rest of India. The state cannot bank on Hyderabad being the trophy capital.
Already, Telangana tops the inflation list and Hyderabad is not in the liveable cities list. To add to that Revanth sarkar is gobbling up all land lying vacant in the city in the name of development which is allegedly land meant for residents, say opposition parties.
On the other hand, Kavitha claims to become the top opposition party. With due respects to her aspirations, she never won an Assembly poll. Though she served as an MP from Nizamabad, she is not acclimatized with the ways of functioning of a state government.
Her anger towards cousin Harish Rao is on a different tangent altogether. Harish Rao is known to be a dedicated worker in KCR camp and has massive goodwill among not just people of Siddipet which is his constituency, but all of Telangana.
Telangana political analysts say Kavitha is talking too soon. It is better to prove her prowess through actions instead of talking “gali matalu”, they say.
