The main opposition party of Telangana, Congress seem to be in shambles ahead of the crucial GHMC elections. The party has put up candidates in 149 divisions but most of them disappeared in the campaign itself.

The party is only concentrating on handful of divisions where it has chances and is totally ignoring even the campaign in the remaining divisions. All the surveys even the one commissioned by Congress is not giving the party more than 15 divisions and a distant fifth place.
This elections are called as the trial run for 2019 elections and Congress seem to be totally in mess. The party is banking on its traditional voters and anti-incumbency on the government to help them.
