Yesterday, controversial casino tycoon Cheekoti Praveen was seen meeting and closely associating with BJP leaders. During a tourism event, he met with BJP National Leader MP Bandi Sanjay and had a separate meeting with BJP leader DK Aruna. However, it is important to note that Praveen already faces pending cases filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Praveen recently received harsh criticism for visiting the Lal Darwaza temple during the Bonalu festival with private gunmen, adding to the list of controversies.
Reports are now circulating about Praveen’s potential entry into the BJP. People on social media are expressing little surprise, as some claim that the BJP is known for making the central agencies give a clean chit to individuals with criminal or fraud histories once they join the party. This has led to the party being humorously referred to as the “washing machine party.”
Praveen’s association with the BJP could put the party’s reputation at risk, considering the allegations and financial controversies surrounding his casino operations. The outcome of whether Praveen eventually joins the political party or faces reevaluation remains uncertain and closely watched.
