If media reports this morning are to be believed, Coronavirus has extended its sway to the last district of Andhra Pradesh – Vizianagaram. A woman of the district suffering from Kidney Problem went to Vishakapatnam for dialysis. Her sample was taken then and she is back to her village even before the result came.
The result later arrived positive. However, the details of this case did not reflect in the Press Note released by the Health Department of Andhra Pradesh Government. Probably, it has been added to Vishakapatnam tally. There are two cases in Vishakapatnam districts in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh has registered 60 more cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 1,777. Seventeen of the 60 cases are in Kurnool, 14 are from Krishna, and another twelve are from Guntur. Kurnool, Krishna, and Guntur have more than 67% of the total cases in Andhra Pradesh.
140 patients have recovered on a single day. This is the highest number of recoveries in a single day for the state.
