Jantar Mantar in Delhi is famous for some of the most historically significant protests against the incumbent governments. Now it is hosting another series of protests involving the younger community who are protesting against education, minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
This protest is primarily handled by the cockroach janta party and they are demanding the immediate resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan over the failure in holding the NEET exam.
As a part of the protest, this group was supposed to march to the Indian Parliament yesterday, but this was expectedly opposed by the Delhi police who claimed that this protest does not have permission.
Subsequently, a massive confrontation broke out between students and police officials which resulted in lathi charge. This was precisely when something shocking and unexpected happened as videos of Delhi Police mistreating female protestors have started to trend all over.
In a set of these videos, we see Delhi Police grossly mistreating women and beating them in inappropriate places. This was captured on camera and it has immediately ignited public backlash. There is a whole lot of negative reaction to the same.
While there is already a lot of public outrage for mishandling the students and physically assaulting them in the name of Police corrective measure, these videos of inappropriate conduct on women could invited more fury.
