‘BJP-Jana Sena Alliance in AP, Not in Telangana’

Dharmapuri Arvind On Pawan Kalyan Campaign Exit

BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind made a rather intriguing statement about Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan withdrawing from coming to Telangana to campaign for municipal elections that are being held on Wednesday, February 11.

While dates of Pawan Kalyan‘s visit were announced, just a day before the tour, it was cancelled. The reason stated was that the doctors advised Pawan Kalyan against the tour due to fever.

Arvind who is considered to be rather outspoken dismissed the need for support from Jana Sena in Telangana municipal polls. When reminded of an alliance in Andhra Pradesh, Arvind brushed off the comments by saying that the alliance with Jana Sena and the BJP was in Andhra Pradesh and there was no such understanding in Telangana. When will Pawan Kalyan come, after the polling is over? Arvind countered the reporter. He said BJP will win in Korutla and their municipal chairman will sit there.

There was bad blood between Telangana leaders and Pawan Kalyan after Pawan Kalyan’s Telangana dishti comments. Many Telangana leaders irrespective of parties openly criticised Pawan Kalyan for making such comments.

Meanwhile, the Jana Sena Telangana members are questioning why their leader is being insulted after being invited by state BJP chief Ramachander Rao to campaign in Telangana.

If one sets aside the dynamics of BJP and Jana Sena in Telangana, questions are now being raised about the internal coordination of BJP leaders.
