The ongoing changes in the leadership positions in Prakasam district of the YSRCP have intensified, leading to dissatisfaction among some leaders and public representatives.
Those who disagreed with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decisions and were unhappy with the changes in their respective constituencies reportedly went to Polomani, Hyderabad, to discuss their concerns with Vijayasai Reddy.
During the discussion, it’s reported that Vijayasai Reddy did not provide concrete assurances but mentioned that certain issues would be looked into. Leaders who left the Kanigiri constituency in significant numbers expressed their discontent and stated that they would resign if MLA Burra Madhusudan Yadav were to be given back the ticket.
Complaints against Burra were reportedly made in the presence of Balineni, another senior leader. Additionally, leaders seeking a ticket for YerraGonda Palem met with Sai Reddy. Balineni reportedly suggested that Chandrasekhar be announced as the in-charge of YerraGonda Palem after discussing with the Chief Minister, but there was no immediate response.
Following this, Chandrasekhar and his supporters reportedly confronted Minister Suresh on this matter and warned Vijayasai that they would closely watch Minister Suresh’s performance in Kondapi. Dissatisfaction and opposition to Jagan’s decisions are reportedly emerging in various places within the party lines, prompting discussions about reviewing the situation and making necessary changes.
