Former Telugu actress Divyavani announced that she is quitting TDP. She had been active in TDP all the while and she complained of not being given importance in the party as she submitted her resignation.
Incidentally, YCP troops who were taken aback by the smashing success of TDP’s Mahanadu, made the most of the situation. They started projecting as if Divyavani is the senior most leader in TDP and her resignation would change Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape.
But YCP’s happiness did not last long as Divyavani has taken a u-turn. She has deleted the tweets related to TDP and her resignation from the party. Conseuqnetly, YCP troops who were celebrating Divyavani’s departure as if it was a big thing had to face a jolt.
Sakshi and other pro-YCP media houses made a meal of the situation by highlighting the lady politician quitting TDP. But soon after, the outspoken politician deleted her tweets and went on the backfoot. Overacting YCP troops then had to lay low and all their hungama evaporated rather quickly.
