The YSR Congress ecosystem is fighting desperately to stay relevant in the Andhra Pradesh political scenario and the party chief Jagan is doing his part in bits.
Jagan is coming to Andhra Pradesh only on a weekly basis and confining his visit to a couple of days at maximum. So the party leadership and the working groups are having to do all the work themselves.
Even today, the YSRCP administration got activated with the DSC protests that were called by Jagan himself earlier.
Several leaders, including Ambati Rambabu, Roja and others had taken to the streets to protest against the government and the way in which the DSC examination was held. This is anyway, an incoherent protest, considering that DSC fulfilment was done already and everyone’s happy with the way it was executed.
But that did not stop YSRCP from finding a reason to protest in the streets today and they did the same to whatever degree they could.
But with Jagan not present on the ground level, the protests that were held by these YSRCP troopers gained no traction whatsoever. Let alone any ground level impact, these protests couldn’t even make it to the social media discourse since morning.
When there is Jagan, there is a bit of public anticipation and related excitement from a section on what he has to speak. But without him, YSRCP is absolutely powerless and hence, the longer Jagan stays away from the ground, the more damage YSRCP will sustain.
