BJP MP Eatala Rajender criticised CM Revanth Reddy, saying he is behaving like an event manager. He made these remarks at his residence in Kamalapuram in Hanumakonda district. Eatala alleged that the CM ignored public issues and chose to play football with Messi instead.
Eatala said the government has no funds to rebuild quarters or pay salaries to Singareni workers. He alleged that Rs 100 crore belonging to Singareni workers was spent on football events. He also accused HYDRAA of demolishing poor people’s houses while ignoring land grabbing by the rich.
The BJP MP said the government must take note of issues raised by Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha. He further stated that local body elections are held without political symbols. Despite being in power, he claimed Congress secured less than 50 percent seats.
Eatala said the ruling party is now trying to claim credit for winning candidates. This, he added, reflects public resentment against the government. PM Modi recently advised Telangana MPs to stop group politics and act as a constructive opposition.
