The Rs 3500 liquor scam has seen many developments in the past few months. In a latest development, ex CM YS Jagan has been chargesheeted. Many feel the case will see him going to jail any time soon.
And now comes the statement of ex minister Narayanaswamy. He said that he is being incriminated by 2 YSRCP leaders.
He went on to say that some people might have earned in liquor scam, but he was clean. Saying no to digital transactions is true. I will cooperate with SIT, said the ex minister of excise & commercial taxes.
Obviously, Narayanaswamy is hinting at turning an approver like another ex YSRCP leader Vijaysai Reddy. Vijaysai Reddy walked out of YSRCP for being sidelined and openly threatened that he would spill the beans when the time comes.
Looks like Jagan lost the game as both Vijaysai Reddy and Narayanaswamy were key players in the past YSRCP government. If Narayanaswamy is indeed speaking the truth, being the ex excise minister, he must have been aware of what was happening behind the doors.
That makes him a valuable asset for the investigators and a headache for Jagan!
