Three TDP MLAs – Atchannaidu, Gorantla Buchchiah Chowdary, and Nimmala Rama Naidu were suspended for the rest of the session by Deputy Speaker, Kona Raghupathi.

They were insisting that CM Jagan implement his padayatra promise of reducing the minimum age of old-age pension from 60 to 45. CM Jagan played a clip of his claiming that he did not promise it immediately after coming to Power. TDP MLAs asked the Speaker’s Permission to play a Clip of Jagan making the Promise but the Speaker did not allow.

Even when Opposition Leader Chandrababu Naidu rose to speak on the issue, Chief Minister Jagan did not allow him and fired on the former Chief Minister. Since the suspended MLAs continued their protest in the house, the Marshals were called to forcibly send them out.

Interestingly, Atchannaidu protested only standing in his place but still the government proposed his name for the Suspension. TDP alleged that Jagan Government is trying to get rid of Atchannaidu from the house in one way or the other.
