Good Gesture: Lokesh Prefers Humanity Over Vote Bank PoliticsPoliticians do have their preferences. They usually spend their time, energy, and resources for their own voters which is understandable to come extent. After all, politicians exist to serve their people. But when someone goes the extra mile to help someone who is not his voter, that should be definitely commendable.

This is such a moment for TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh. Someone on Twitter has approached him for an Oxygen in Coimbatore for his colleague’s father. The patient is from Tamil Nadu but Lokesh went that extra mile and coordinated with Coimbatore Collector, S Nagarajan to get the bed.

“Patient is a Tamilian, his son is in my team. How often you find a politician helping people someone in another state without worrying about votes/elections. That is @ncbn & now @naralokesh.. same genes.. leaders with compassion & service as a motto (sic),” thanked the person who approached Lokesh for the help.

“We are in this together and we will sail through these challenging times together,” Lokesh responded. This gesture of the former minister is winning hearts on Social Media.
