Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s father-in-law EC Gangi Reddy passed away in a private hospital in Hyderabad. He passed away while getting treated for an illness at the continental hospital in Hyderabad.
Gangi Reddy is one of the leading pediatricians in Pulivendula. He is known for treating the poor at affordable or no fees. He also served as an MPP from Pulivendula from 2001-2005. Only a few days ago, CM Jagan visited him in the hospital and wished a speedy recovery.
His mortal remains have been shifted to Gollalaguduru village of Vemula Mandal in the Kadapa district. His final rites took place in the same estate where YSR’s mortal remains are laid to rest. The Chief Minister had canceled all his appointments for the day and rushed to Pulivendula.
