A case has been filed on YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu for threatening the police. On the occasion of YSRCP’s vennupotu day, Ambati burst out at the police at the Guntur collectorate.
Following this, a case was filed on Ambati and some other YSRCP members at the Pattabhipuram police station for creating hurdles to the work of police.
A case under Section 353 was filed on Ambati.
The incident took place on Wednesday when Ambati got into an heated argument with the police, threatening them. Though the police made it clear that the representation team will be allowed into the Collectorate, Ambati insisted on taking the entire gang with him.
The video that went viral and was shown on AV media, resulted in widespread criticism of the YSRCP leader. Many netizens felt that Ambati over reacted and got into an argument over nothing.
Some netizens were more neutral and advised Ambati not to lose cool over such trivial issues at his age, given that he is 70.
