Kuppam: Legal Action On All YCP Fake Accounts

Kuppam police act on canal fake news

Kuppam police have taken strong action against several YSRCP-linked fake accounts spreading false claims about Krishna waters in the Handri-Neeva canal. The posts claimed that the water flow had stopped and the canal had dried up.

These claims sparked concern among farmers across Rayalaseema. In response, the police warned that legal action will be taken against those creating panic with fake news. Investigations are underway to track down who initiated and instructed these posts.

Interestingly, police have also confirmed that legal cases will be filed against individuals posting from abroad. The goal is to stop the spread of misinformation, whether local or international.

Krishna waters reaching Rayalaseema farms was a long-cherished dream. Under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, this dream finally came true. However, this success has not been well-received by the YSRCP leadership and Jagan.

As soon as the achievement was highlighted, certain groups began spreading false propaganda, claiming the canal had dried up. This appears to be a political tactic to divert public attention.

The current Chandrababu government is determined to curb the spread of fake news. It is using legal measures to counter false narratives online. Fake videos and misleading posts on social media have become a major concern for the ruling party.
