
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been severely affected by incessant rainfall over the past two days, with many areas in both states submerged under water due to the heavy rains.
The ongoing rains have caused severe disruptions, with many villages submerged, roads and railways affected, and water flooding into low-lying residential areas, leading to severe hardships for residents.

The heavy rainfall resulted in the cutoff of road and rail transportation between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Chimiryala Lake, located on the AP-Telangana border, is flooded near Ramapuram village. On the other side, rainwater has overflowed onto the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway near Nallabandagudem village. As a result, a massive traffic jam occurred near the interstate checkpost.

The floodwater overflowed onto the National Highway near Ithavaram village in the Nandigama mandal of Annamayya district, causing transportation on the highway to come to a halt.
Meanwhile, an RTC bus was stuck in Paleru Vagu near Nallabandagudem village. Thankfully, 30 passengers travelling on the bus were rescued safely.

Due to water flowing on the highways, RTC has suspended bus services between Vijayawada and Hyderabad momentarily. As a result, people planning to travel on these routes are facing difficulties.
