Mega Week Coming up for Andhra Pradesh!

Two Projects – Isuzu and Cadbury are beginning their operations. And the other project – Hero Motocorp will be having its foundation stone ceremony. These three projects are bringing 3500 Crore investments and will create direct employment for about 6000.

Isuzu came to AP even before the bifurcation, could not obtain necessary permissions and there were several litigation over the land allotment. CM Chandrababu Naidu appointed a special officer for this project and made sure that all the deadlocks are cleared. Isuzu put an investment of 700 Crore until now out of the total 1500 Crore project. In the first phase, it will create employment for 400 people. The plant will be opened on 27th of this month by the Chief Minister.

Cadbury completed its construction in Sri City in record time and is bringing in 1250 Crore investments. Completing the construction of a plant in two years is a record in the company history. The plant is targeting 2.5 Lakh tonnes of choclates every year and will give employment to 1600 people. The company had already chosen 330 rural youth for employment. The plant will start operation on 25th by CM Chandrababu Naidu.

The last one is Hero Motocorp which will have foundation stone ceremony on 25th by Chandrababu Naidu. The construction could not happen due to land issues and finally Supreme court gave a go ahead for the project. The plant coming up at this SEZ will have an annual capacity of 1.8-2 million units and the company is planning to invest 1600 Crore for the plant. This legal tangle delayed the construction by about an year. Hero Motocorp plans to complete the first phase by 2018 and it will create employment for 6500 people with 1600 Crore investment.
