In what can be termed as a historical moment in the history of Rayalaseema, International Automobiles Major, Kia Motors had its Framework Installation Ceremony a little while ago in Yerramanchi village of Penugonda mandal of Anantapur district.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is the Chief Guest for the ceremony along with Han-Woo Park, President of Kia Motors Corporation for the event. This is the single largest investment in Parched Rayalaseema history.
The South Korea-based company which is the fifth biggest Automobile manufacturer in the World selected AP as its home for its first ever plant in India. The company will be making a whopping 13000 Crore investment and will provide 10000 Employment Opportunities.
Besides this, 150 ancillary units will come up there and most of them belong to South Korea. The engine shop, body shop, paint shop, seat shop, assembled unit, utility center and powertrain shop are getting ready in the main unit of the plant and the first car is expected to come out early in 2019.
