The Andhra Pradesh government has started work to install a huge statue of NTR in Neerukonda, Amaravati. During their earlier term, TDP decided to install a statue of NTR in Neerukonda, Mangalagiri mandal.

As they were going ahead with the project, the government changed. With the alliance government coming back to power, the idea has gained momentum. Minister Narayana and officials from CRDA, ADCL visited Gujarat for two days.

They visited the world’s biggest Vallabhai Patel statue in Ektanagar. They appointed an advisory body for the NTR Statue in Neerukonda. To get a Consultancy to prepare the DPR, ADCL called for Request for Proposal (RFP).

The bids have to be submitted by 4 pm on May 14. The bids will be opened on the same day at 4.30 pm. The selected company will look into all matters regarding the statue and submit a DPR.

The company will study various huge statues around the world. It will study the land, quality of stone and air direction to suggest the height of the statue.




A museum dedicated to the memorabilia of NTR will also be constructed here. The company will also suggest ways in which the place can be converted into a tourist spot.
