Earlier this morning, Hyderabad facing severe rain because of a cloud burst. A severe cloudburst hit Hyderabad early Tuesday morning around 4:45 AM, resulting in a torrential downpour that drenched large parts of the city and it was completely unexpected, as the weather changed drastically overnight.
Early in the morning, many residents across the city had to wake up to the thunder and unstoppable rain. The severe rainfall resulted in many areas experiencing significant waterlogging and traffic disruptions.
The sudden and intense rainfall led to flooding in low-lying areas, making it difficult for people to commute.
Emergency services were likely on high alert, and the local authorities have advised residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel until the weather conditions improved. The rainfall also caused disruption to the power supply in many areas.
The heavy rain affected multiple areas, including Saroornagar, LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar, Charminar, Rajendranagar, Abids, Nampally, Mehdipatnam, Nagole, Tellapur, Boduppal, Madhuranagar, Gachibowli, Chaitanyapuri, Ameerpet, Musheerabad, Shivarampally, and Uppal.
The government officials reported a chance of high rainfall even today later in the evening and night .
