Of late, we are hearing an increased number of cases where IT and tech companies are flipping the boards and cheating their employees regarding salaries. Here’s one such instance.
A Kadapa native named Prem Prakash(44) stays at Sanathnagar in Hyderabad. He, along with his friend, Likith set up an office at Kondapur Western Pearl building. He named the company Santu Su.
For the past 1 year, this company has been running an elaborate fraud operation where they hired employees by taking Rs 1-1.5 lakh each from them, promising to training them in software and later hire them.
The company then paid two months salaries to the people they hired. Things took a turn for the worse later as the employees weren’t paid salaries. When questioned, Prem and Likith used to say random explanations.
The victims then approached the police and lodged a complaint. Upon investigation, the police extracted from Likith and Prem that they were running a fraud operation and had amassed Rs 3 crore through this process. They are currently in custody and are facing multiple charges.
