Now, the exit polls are out, and they indicate a tight race between AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP candidate Madhavi Latha. Some reputed exit polls even suggest that Madhavi Latha might defeat Owaisi, which would be the biggest miracle of this election.

The Axis My India exit poll suggests that the BJP might win the Hyderabad seat. It predicts that in Telangana, the BJP could win 11-12 seats, Congress might get 4-6 seats, and BRS could get 0-1 seats. AIMIM is expected to win 0-1 seat.

Similarly, Today’s Chanakya exit poll indicates that Madhavi Latha might defeat Asaduddin Owaisi for the Hyderabad seat. This poll predicts BJP could win 10-14 seats, Congress 3-7 seats, and AIMIM might win or lose in Hyderabad.

For the past few months, Hyderabad has seen intense campaigning by both Asaduddin Owaisi and Madhavi Latha. While other candidates are also running, many see the main contest as being between AIMIM and BJP.

In 2019, Asaduddin Owaisi won the seat with 58.94 percent of the votes. AIMIM has held the Hyderabad seat since 1989, with Owaisi as the MP since 2004.

With exit polls predicting a close race between Owaisi and Latha, it’s uncertain who will win the Hyderabad seat this time.
