Telangana Ministers and media have experienced the Hyderabad Metro Rail this morning. The trial run happened in Nagole – Mettuguda route with Ministers – KTR, Talasani, Padma Rao and Mohammed Ali on board.

After the trial run, KTR announced that the Metro Rail will be open to people in the first half of 2016. This route was supposed to open for Ugadi this year but the government postponed the launch.
This is the only route in which Metro Rail is complete. The project is being hampered in other routes with land acquisition and alignment change issues. Telangana government is slowly solving one issue after the other and clearing decks for the project so that all the routes will be operational by the time of 2019 elections.
