The proposal of making Hyderabad, a union territory is back. Congress is leaving no stone unturned to pass the bill as a part of it, Group of Ministers (GOM) is holding talks with Seema Andhra Ministers. They have clearly laid out that Hyderabad should be made a union territory and the revenue sharing should be incorporated in the bill. GOM will be placing all their demands and the Telangana bill as table item in front of Cabinet.
Cabinet will be taking the final decision on the contents of the bill and will be forwarding it to the President. The bill will be introduced in Rajya Sabha on February 10th. On the other side, Telangana region leaders are worried on the latest move of the center and are giving clear statements that they will not agree to make Hyderabad a Union Territory.
