$20K, which amounts to around Rs. 1.6 crores approximately is a huge amount, and such a scam was running right in the heart of Hyderabad, Madhapur.

The US has become like a second home for Indians due to the frequent exchange of technology, manpower, and other products.

In Hyderabad itself, there are 1000s of call centers interacting with millions of Americans on a daily basis. And hence the number of such fraud companies is also increasing with each passing day. The allure of easy money in a nation with limited opportunities can drive some to engage in deceitful practices, perpetuating the problem.

These scams prey on Americans by exploiting trust and technological proficiency, causing not only financial losses and eroding the trust Americans have in Indians but also spoiling the reputation of India.
