YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s 2024 campaign is all about extravagant claims like Why Not 175? Why Not Kuppam? etc.
The reality is YSR Congress was reduced from 151 to just eleven. Jagan had to knock on the door of the courts to get the Opposition leader status while people denied it.
YSR Congress cadre blamed Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy and I-PAC for this debacle. They always said Sajjala and I-PAC misled Jagan and ensured he was never aware of ground reality.
But then, nothing changed after the elections. Sajjala is still the number two in the party and Jagan is planning to bring back I-PAC.
Even after the 2014 defeat, Jagan did not use the services of I-PAC until 2017. That means just two years before the elections.
But this time, he is planning to bring I-PAC much earlier.
Sources say that I-PAC will begin work in a few weeks to design the party’s campaign strategies and help build up the party’s image in the next three years.\
That means neither Jagan nor Sajjala and I-PAC committed any mistake in 2024. That brings the question of who is the reason for the 2024 debacle.
In regional parties, if there is someone who can not be made accountable to the defeats, it is the leader.
If Sajjala and I-PAC were the culprits, Jagan would have taken action already.
Probably, we should say Jagan may be the real culprit, hence there is no chance of taking any action.
Another possibility is that Jagan is blindly believing the silly conspiracy theory of EVM Tampering. In such a case, God save YSR Congress!
