Jagan Fighting Mom Here

It is known to our readers that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy moved to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to cancel the transfer of shares in Saraswati Power and Industries to his mother Y S Vijayamma, and sister Y S Sharmila.

The NCLT Bench, comprising Judicial Member Rajeev Bharadwaj and Technical Member Sanjay Puri, critically commented on Jagan’s Petition, indicating that he may be fighting a losing cause.

Jagan had urged to cancel the gift deed since his “love and affection” for his sister had ended.

They questioned if the “love and affection” for his sister had ended because she claimed a share in the properties.

They also asked, “How can love and affection change like the weather?”

The tribunal was also critical that Jagan was legally fighting his own mother.

“While India is fighting Pakistan at the borders, here a son is fighting his mother,” the bench opined.

These are critical comments and may indicate that Jagan will lose this case.

Senior Counsel S Niranjan Reddy, who appeared for Jagan, claimed the share transfer was fraudulent and incomplete.

The Counsel for Vijaya Lakshmi and Sharmila opined that a gift, once made, cannot be revoked unilaterally without mutual consent, as stated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and that the share transfer followed due legal process and notarization.

Forget about losing the case, such comments by the Tribunal will hamper Jagan’s image in the People.

He is a Politician, and the Hindu Society takes it very seriously when a brother tries to deny his sister the rightful share in the father’s properties.

Vijayalakshmi is clearly on Sharmila’s side, indicating that Jagan is wrong in this issue.

Also, Jagan is going to court against his mother. That will also not go well with the Public.

Already, Jagan’s image is severely dented after the election defeat, this issue will damage it further.
