We recently reported that 30-year-old Indian American software engineer, Ankit Bagai, went missing in Maryland, USA. Now the latest reports suggest that his body was recovered from a lake in the US state of Maryland. Ankit Bagai had gone missing on April 9.
According to the Montgomery police, Bagai was found in Lake Churchill by officers who were called to the area after a body was reportedly seen in the water.
Bagai’s family had conducted their own search, beginning at a local police station and posting his image in various locations, hoping to find leads. Bagai was last seen leaving a treatment facility close to Milestone Plaza, and his family had initially thought he may have been in Virginia or Washington, DC.
Ankit Bagai was a graduate of the University of Virginia and was prescribed several life-saving medications. The cause of death has not been revealed yet. However, cops say they do not suspect foul play.
