In a new development, the Income Tax department has raided the house belonging to a crorepati Indian YouTuber.
The raids happened at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, where the YouTuber resides.
The YouTuber is named Tasleem and he is said to have amassed over Rs 1 crore through YouTube videos.
The income tax department is said to have raided the property of the YouTuber and they found that he held Rs 24 lakh in cash.
The income tax sleuths have reportedly said that the YouTuber has amassed money through illegal means and hence the legal action now.
The family members of the YouTuber have claimed that there is no trace of illegal money and they vowed to proceed with the case legally henceforth.
Tasleem has been running a YouTube channel for many years and he has amassed money through the same. It has to be seen if he can validate the funds.
