YCP leaders have been landing in legal soup after losing power in the state. Over the last few months, we have seen multiple YCP leaders falling into legal troubles in various issues. Now, former Bhimavaram YCP MLA Grandhi Srinivas joins the list.
The IT officials have been conducting raids at various Grandhi Srinivas properties since this morning. The raids are being conducted under the supervision of the Central Industrial Security Force.

Currently, the raids are underway at Grandhi’s residence, office, prawns factory, office in Krishna district’s Nagayalanka and various other properties. More details of this raid are yet to be announced officially.
Grandhi Srinivas shot to popularity by defeating Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan in the 2019 assembly elections. He won against Pawan Kalyan with a majority of over 8300 votes. However, Srinivas lost to the alliance candidate Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu by 13,726 votes.

Grandhi Srinivas has been staying away from YCP party activities since his defeat in the elections. It was also reported that he might soon resign from the party. Amidst these speculations, the latest raids on his properties gained prominence in the political circles.
