During the YSR Congress Party’s rule, Andhra Pradesh was like a dead state. Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy neither developed the state nor attracted any investments.
He left the capital city, Amaravati, in ruins and introduced the three-capital idea. Ultimately, he left the state with no proper capital city by the end of his regime. Many companies which were interested in investing in AP during Chandrababu Naidu’s rule, left the state after Jagan came into power. Such was his governance.

Now, his close aide and senior YCP leader Vijayasai Reddy has called Jagan a business mastermind, claiming that his business skills have helped him lead the business sector.
Vijayasai Reddy held a press meet today to attack Jagan’s sister Sharmila in the property dispute issue. During the meet, he said, “Whatever assets Jagan has, he has been managing and growing them only because of his skills. That is why he is leading in the business sector.”

After hearing his statements, people on social media questioned if Jagan was so capable, why couldn’t he attract investments to the state, create jobs for the unemployed, and instead made the existing investments to leave the state? They opined that Jagan’s mastery of business was of no use to the state’s development.
Vijayasai Reddy also alleged that Sharmila is waging war against Jagan, not for money, but for power. He further accused her of teaming up with Chandrababu Naidu to destroy her own brother.
