Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has said that YSRCP chief Jagan went to the tobacco farmers and spoke without knowing the difference between a kg and tonne.
She sarcastically said that Jagan must take the credit of being the only person who went to mango farmers and got mangoes crushed.
On Saturday, Vangalapudi Anitha released funds for the 1st phase of Annadata Sukhibhava-PM Kisan. Speaking on the occasion, Anitha advised that one must not do politics over farmers. The YSRCP leaders are using farming to play politics, she said at Gajapathi Nagaram.
While the alliance government is taking steps to help the farmers, the YSRCP leaders are deliberately opposing them, said the Home Minister.
Anitha shared that CM Chandrababu likes farmers and the government is trying to remove the obstacles of farmers by doing resurvey.
She requested the farmers to use technology and follow organic farming methods.
Before the event, Home Minister Anitha oversaw paddy planting at Puritipenta village near Gajapathi Nagaram railway station. The Minister also planted some paddy saplings.
