YS Jagan addressed the local and regional party representatives on Tuesday. He spoke about how the present government was handing over active YSRCP members to vigilance.
Be it a corporator, ZPTC, MPTC, the government has created a tradition of harassing YSRCP members and leaders, he told the gathering. They are being put in jails though they haven’t committed any crime for the simple reason that they are active, said Jagan.

I have been keeping a track of what’s happening to the karyakartas and other leaders. Having seen it first-hand, I want to say that Jagan 2.0 will be totally different, the YSRCP chief said.
When we were voted to power, Covid started in March, 2020. We had to deal with it for two years. We had to run the government during that time.

I must have not given the kind of appreciation the karyakartas expected. But from now on, the Karyakartas are No 1 in YSRCP, he said.
Jagan went on to say that when he returns to power, he will make those who harassed YSRCP members pay. Even if they are retired, even if they are abroad, I will bring them back and punish them. Note down the names in the book of your choice, said Jagan.
