YS Jagan Mohan Reddy toured the Raptadu constituency, where a YSR Congress Activist, Kuruba Lingamayya, lost his life in Faction Politics. YSR Congress claims that he has been murdered by the TDP cadres.
Jagan visited their family and later addressed the media there.
Jagan’s speech left the heads rolling.
He started off saying how TDP tried to win various by-elections for MPP, ZP Chairman, Upa-Sarpanch, and Co-option members of various Local Bodies across Andhra Pradesh.
He started narrating what happened in the case of Kuruba Lingamayya.
And then, he ended up giving a warning to Chandrababu Naidu and the Police Department.
He warned the Police that he would strip them naked and called them ‘Watchmen’ working for Chandrababu Naidu.
Throughout his speech, Jagan is seen carrying a bunch of papers and is frequently reading from them.
Jagan in his 25-minute speech, did not say a single word to console Kuruba Lingamayya’s family or give any assurance to them.
Jagan is not staying in Andhra Pradesh and is confined mostly to Bengaluru after his defeat.
He rarely comes to Andhra Pradesh for consolation yatras like this or to attend any weddings.
So his public appearances have become very rare.
Whenever he comes out, he should make sure that there is some empathy towards the people and his cadre.
A family lost its head, and Jagan does not give him any assurance before the media.
He may have said things in Private, but politicians do things only that is committed before the media.
If Jagan said something before the media, the family would have stayed assured. Also, it would build confidence in the rest of the cadre.
But Jagan’s speeches are completely riddled with hate for Chandrababu and exhibition of his urgency to come to power.
And the comments like “పోలీసులు బట్టలూడదీసి నిలబెడతాం” will only instigate the cadres and make them run into unnecessary troubles.
And once if they get into any trouble, Jagan only uses them as a political opportunity to criticize Chandrababu Naidu.
