The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, KCR and Jaganmohan Reddy respectively, have this kind of silent understanding at a party level. Jagan has good affinity with KCR and KTR and vice versa.
This is strangely reflecting in the method of operations that Jagan and KCR had been exhibiting after losing their respective elections not too long ago.
KCR had been confronting himself to the Erravalli farmhouse while Jagan is mostly preferring to spend almost all of his time at the Bengaluru House. He is coming to Andhra Pradesh only on a weekly basis and that too for a day or two only.
Now it appears that KCR and Jagan have found a new partner in this hibernation process, and he just so happens to be from the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu.
The discussion is about the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin. He was very active in the Tamil Nadu political arena before the defeat in the 2026 assembly election.
But after considering a significant defeat to Thalapathy Vijay in extremely surprising circumstances, MK Stalin had been very sedated. He is rarely stepping out in the public while his son Udhay Stalin is running the operations mostly.
KCR and Stalin might have age reasons to defend their political inactivity, but Jagan does not have this luxury. Jagan is indeed promising a lot of activity in 2027 with the Padayatra but alas, that’s a thing in the future.
