The ruling YCP got another shock ahead of the General Elections in Andhra Pradesh. After the likes of Lavu Sri Krishna Devararayalu, Vasantha Krishna Prasad and Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, another prominent leader is jumping from the YCP to TDP.
The state cabinet minister Gummanur Jayaram is all set to join the Telugu Desam Party later today. He will join the TDP today at the “Jayaho BC” meeting which will be held in Mangalagiri.
He announced his resignation from his ministry and the YSR Congress Party this morning. He stated that he was fed up with the atrocities of YS Jagan. Jayaram’s followers came in a huge rally to his Vijayawada’s camp office earlier today to support him.
Speaking to the media, Jayaram said that Jagan asked him to contest for the Kurnool Lok Sabha seat but he doesn’t want to contest there. He alleged that Jagan is a puppet in the hands of Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy and Dhanunjaya Reddy. Jayaram revealed that he will contest from the Guntakal Assembly constituency, representing the TDP.
