AP PCC chief YS Sharmila demanded that all illegal dealings done as a part of AP liquor scam must be revealed. She said the scam was about making black money. That’s the reason behind stalling digital payments, said Sharmila.
Sharmila demanded answers from Jagan during her talk with media at the Gannavaram airport. She said that many lapses occurred during the making of liquor and selling it, during Jagan’s term. In the digital age, revenues were generated through cash payments, pointed out the PCC chief.
The entire focus was on making black money by not paying taxes. Why were brands stopped and cheap liquor introduced? In 5 years, 30 lakh people suffered from kidney problems. Of them, 30,000 died, said Sharmila.
She demanded that SIT and Chandrababu should take note of all such matters. Jagan must go to the Assembly and tell why his government made cash transactions, said the PCC chief.
