The twin Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are witnessing very interesting brand of politics with regard to families, situations and related political discourses.
On that note, there is this interesting connection or similarity between YS Jagan and his brotherly figure in Telangana KTR, as the two of them appear to spending a sad Raksha Bandhan.
Today happens to be the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, which celebrates the spirit of sister and brother bonding in the Indian society.
However, in the case of KTR and Jagan, this festive spirit is lacking for political reasons. This is due to the fact that Kavita and Sharmila respectively have clearly differed with their brothers and are not even on talking terms.
It is reported that KTR is out of India and it is unavailable to spend the Raksha Bandhan Day with his sister Kavita and this was confirmed by herself yesterday.
In the case of YS Jagan, the situation is anyway known to the public as Sharmila is breathing on him all day long. She is even saying that Jagan is conspiring to save the murderers of their uncle Viveka. With such rivalry, it is farcical to expect Sharmila to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with Jagan.
Politics can take a lot away from an individual, and perhaps the cases of Jagan and KTR are perfectly replicating, the same as the two of them absolutely loved their sisters in the past. But neither of them are in good terms with their female counterparts today.
