One of the principal traits of former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan was his unrelenting aversion towards the capital region of Amaravati. This capital region was absolutely brought to ruins by the previous YCP administration.
Several progressive tenders were cancelled and they enter capital region was kept in the dark with no development projects allocated between 2019 to 24. Amaravati a ghost town during the administration as the buildings started wearing out due to no maintenance and roads also started to deteriorate.
However, there is a contradicting argument from YCP’s young leader Devineni Avinash, who says neither Jagan nor the YCP administration was against Amaravati at any given point.
This young leader pointed out that Jagan always had the intention of developing Amaravati along with Machilipatnam and Guntur, but he was never standing against the capital region at all.
The tenacity to publicly claim that Jagan was holding nothing against Amaravati is as audacious as it can get and the YCP leadership has somehow gained the courage for the same. However, this public statement from Avinash is getting lambasted by the social media folk who are exposing Jagan’s open hate towards Amaravati region.
