Congress’s Victory in Telangana and Revanth Reddy’s elevation as the Chief Minister changed the political turf in Andhra Pradesh as well. There is a fear in the YSR Congress that change may be imminent in Andhra Pradesh too.
Moreover, they are worried that Revanth Reddy will interfere in the Andhra elections just like how KCR helped Jagan in 2019.
It is rumored that KCR silenced some TDP leaders during the 2019 elections using their assets in Hyderabad. As a result, some contestants did not put their 100% efforts in the elections in fear. Jagan fears the same for his candidates now.
YSR Congress leaders and motor-mouths are being very cautious in responding to issues related to Revanth Reddy and Telangana for that reason.
The other day, Revanth Reddy attacked KCR on Water Issues while making stern comments on the Late YSR and Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“Dhammunte ippudu raa Jagan,” Revanth Reddy challenged.
Interestingly, YSR Congress motormouths who charge at anyone to impress Jagan whenever someone says something about him were totally silent.
Forget Jagan speaking on the issue, there is no official comment from anyone in the party.
It looks like Jagan ordered complete silence on any issue related to the neighboring Chief Minister fearing backlash during the election time.
That is an indication of the fear Jagan has for Revanth Reddy.
