A case has been filed by Sattenapalle Rural police on YSRCP leader and ex minister Ambati Rambabu. He created anarchy at Korrapadu along with his brother Murali during ex CM Jagan’s Palnadu tour.
He pushed away the barricades and got into a heated argument with the police. Ambati also pushed aside the police who were trying to stop him. The police filed a case under various sections for disturbing their duty.
Jagan went to Rentapalla on Wednesday to inaugurate the statue of YSRCP leader Naga Malleswara Rao. His rally passed by Guntur, Nallapadu, Medikonduru and reached Palnadu district. The police put up a checkpost on the outskirts of Guntur, Palnadu border area at Korrapadu near a petrol bunk.
While Jagan’s vehicle and some other vehicles passed by, the police stopped some vehicles to avoid rush. That’s when Ambati reached there and got into an argument with police demanding them to allow other vehicles.
The police tried to explain that they were trying to avoid crowd due to the incident in Etukuru. But Ambati did not listen. At one point, he tried to push aside the barricades along with his brother Murali.
The Sattenapalle city police also filed cases on YSRCP leader and ex Narsaraopet MLA Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy and YSRCP Sattenapalle incharge Sudheer Bhargav reddy and a few others.
