YSR Congress President and Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to have Godavari Pushkaralu dip on 15th of this month. YS Jagan is a converted Christian and indulged in several controversies after he did not give declaration before going to Tirumala.

On one occasion, he was found to be entering the queue of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam with chappals. These incidents created a bad impression on Jagan in some sections. Post the election defeat, Jagan is visiting lot of Hindu temples so as to erase the bad remarks on him.
It may noted that Jagan also recently went to Jerusalem taking the court permission. Jagan is A-1 accused in several cases and has no permission to go out of the country with out the permission of the courts. So, Jagan seem to be maintaining balance in appeasing Hindus as well as Christians.
