The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy sat in front of the Telugu press again today for a conference. He sang the expected tune against the NDA government.
This was precisely when an interesting discussion was brought up in front of Jagan. One person remarked that the recent surveys have been projecting the return of YCP to power and Jagan becoming the CM of Andhra Pradesh again.
This prompted a happy reaction from Jagan as he appeared to be excited about listening to these reports.
Jagan commented that Chandrababu is delivering horrible governance to the people of Andhra Pradesh, and it is a matter of time before he gets removed.
However, the very fact that Jagan is taking solace from this unfounded survey reports which have absolutely zero credibility is warning signs for YCP.
Jagan is already detached from the ground level politics and he’s coming to Andhra Pradesh only on a weekly basis. So if he takes the survey reports and actually think that the situation at the foundational level is in favour of YCP, then there is every chance that he might take it more easy.
There is already a comment that Jagan is ignorant about the political atmosphere in AP and the last thing that YCP would be wanting is for him to further loose the knot, thinking YCP’s return is sorted.
In the last 26+ months, since the formation of the new government, Jagan has not held a single protest in person. Nor has he been attending the Assembly session. At this point in time, a lethargic and self-confident Jagan is the worst outcome for the entire YCP franchise.
