YSRCP cadre during Jagan Vijayawada tour

YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Vijayawada tour to meet Jogi Ramesh has caused concern among residents of NTR district. Large numbers of YSRCP cadre gathered in Ibrahimpatnam, creating tension in the area.

Witnesses said some cadre used abusive language against ruling party leaders. Others allegedly performed dangerous bike stunts while waiting for Jagan. These actions caused fear among commuters and local residents.

The situation turned more disturbing when a few cadre reportedly cut themselves with a knife. They placed blood tilaks on Jagan’s pictures. Though YSRCP leaders, including Jogi Ramesh, were present, no attempt was made to stop these acts.

People passing through the area said they were scared by what they saw. Many felt the behaviour crossed acceptable limits for a political visit. Concerns were raised over public safety and order.

YSRCP has earlier faced allegations of encouraging unruly behaviour. Critics say the cadre often use foul language and create disturbances during public events. According to locals, such conduct occurs even during weddings or sympathy visits involving Jagan.

A recent incident at an MLC’s daughter’s wedding was also recalled. YSRCP cadre allegedly pushed aside steel barricades and raised slogans inside the wedding hall. This added to public anger.

Political analysts say repeated incidents have left Andhra Pradesh citizens uneasy. They point out that despite electoral setbacks, the party has not shown restraint. Analysts stress the need for responsible conduct that does not disrupt daily life.
