Did Jagan Permanently Shut Down Vizag?

Jagan Mohan Reddy on Vizag and Amaravati

One of the main narrative carried by former chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy during his previous time as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh is the development of Vizag as the capital of the state.

But it appears that Jagan has definitely change this plan and shut down the Vizag capital proposition for good.

Today, Jagan publicly announced that is going to go ahead with MaViGun as his capital promise to the people of Andhra Pradesh, and only those who believe in this can vote for YCP in the coming election. Those who believe in Amaravati can happily vote for the TDP, he confirmed.

Then something very interesting happened as Telugu Media question Jagan about what would be the case with Vizag, which was his earlier favourite for the capital region. In fact, he even built a lavish Palace in Rushikonda, Vizag to start the administration here.

Jagan did not say a single word about Vizag when the media questioned what would be his stand on this capital while he has now conveniently shifted to MaViGun.

People are already questioning how can voters trust Jagan if he change his word on Vizag in just a couple of years time, and he is already coming up with a new capital in MaViGun. They are questioning what is the guarantee that Jagan would not change his word on the new capital soon.
