YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had shot a open letter to CM Chandrababu saying that he do not want to be invited for Amaravati and even said he will not come to Amaravati even if he is invited.
YS Jagan had stated eight reasons for not coming to the event. Here is our take on each point of Jagan’s letter.
More than 30,000 acres of land collected for Amaravati is through Land Pooling. The government even dropped the idea of land acquisition for the left over 1300 acres. The land pooling is considered as one of the biggest achievements in modern democracy as more than 30000 acres are collected with out much resistance. India Inc asked the Prime Minister to adopt the land pooling model implemented by AP when NDA government failed attempt to push through the amendments to the Land Acquisition Act. The model is being implemented even by the center very soon.
Section 144 is imposed in Capital region. But that is in a accordance with the protocol of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will be visiting the region for laying the foundation stone. PM’s Special Protection Group (SPG) already took control of the region. Do you mean to say 144 section is preventing you to go there and expose resistance if any?
Yesterday, the center had confirmed that all the environmental clearances were granted to the capital. Where is the question of violating National Green Tribunal?
Assigned lands and lands of poor were also given compensation according to the government’s Policy. If still there is a problem, what has stopped YSRCP from leading a movement on the issue till now?
Singapore government is working with AP so far, not private firms, where is the question of corruption here? The process of identification of Master Planner did not begin yet. Even when Singapore companies bid, even Jagan Mohan Reddy can out do the bid using Swiss Challenge method. What is the problem with that?
Center is binding only to fund the construction of Seed Capital according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. What about the construction of the remaining city? If the construction is confined only to government buildings as you say, How about the creation of jobs who are demanding every day? World Class Capital is what for Chandrababu is voted and he is in the process of realizing it.
Opposition can always name the Binamis and take them to the court. You can also expose where government exempted the lands to benefit some others from the land pooling.
Why it is becoming difficult for opposition party to digest when the whole World is looking at Amaravati on Vijaya Dasami day. That day, the World will see the rise of Amaravati, the next generation capital city. With Singapore and Japan being involved, the better it is promoted, sooner it will emerge as an investment destination.
Finally it should be ones wish to come or confine to their palace. But do not try to belittle the Land Pooling exercise and the dream of millions.
