Jagan’s Special Love On Vizag: Ticket For Beach!

Jagan Rushikonda BeachThe tourism department under the YSRCP government has made a decision to collect an entry fee of ₹20 from visitors at Rushikonda Beach, starting July 11.

At present, the authorities at Rushikonda Beach are already collecting fees of ₹10 for two-wheelers, ₹30 for cars, and ₹50 for buses. However, the recent announcement of entry charges for the general public has come as a sudden addition to these existing fees.

Opposition parties, civil organizations, and residents have criticized the decision to increase the entry fee at Rushikonda Beach by the YS Jagan government. They argue that public places should not have fees, and nature lovers are particularly opposed to the move.

People on social media are expressing their anger by saying that the government should focus on developing the beaches instead of collecting money from visitors. Many condemned the decision as anti-public.

After Jagan came to power, he killed Amaravati and promised to make Vizag the executive capital of AP, but he did almost nothing in these 4 and 1/2 years. The infrastructure of Vizag is crumbling under Jagan’s neglect. On top of it, now a natural resource like Rushikonda Beach is being commercialized by forcing people to pay an entry fee.
