The chief minister of AP, YS Jagan was heavily reliant on I-PAC in 2019 and he is continuing to do the same for the 2024 elections as well.
Incidentally, Jagan held a meeting with the IPL-PAC team at his camp office earlier today and discussed the elections strategy.
The meeting was primarily focused on finalizing the candidates for the coming general elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan reportedly asked the team to analyse the public response on the existing MLA candidates in his party. He is reportedly of the idea of replacing the MLAs who have very low public approval.
Jagan even asked about the developments after recently appointing a new in-charge for Hindupur constituency. He had a detailed discussion with the team regarding the list of candidates for his party in the coming election.
Jagan apparently plans to finalize the list of MLA and MP candidates for the next election in the near future and publicly announce the same before the election campaign sets in.
The fact that this special meeting has come several months before the elections and shortly after the shocking defeat in the MLC election has started to turn heads.
